A symbol of industrial environments, concrete is chosen by contemporary designers for its innately imperfect character, which is why it is so sought-after. This astonishing result stems from an in-depth knowledge of an originally poor material, which has now been reinterpreted in a contemporary connotation. inCemento sums up these qualities with a continuous surface exuding a multi-sensory charm. The chromatic imperfections created by the manual trowelling technique are clearly visible. To the touch, the lived-in look of concrete contrasts with the impeccable polishing, which makes the covering completely smooth and velvety.

inMetallo is a luminescent covering available in six different metallic finishes, ideal for enhancing individual elements of the living room. A bowl, a desk or even a door covered with this material will fill the surrounding space with a luminous elegance. But it is not only the optical effect that stuns: thanks to the metal powder contained in the mix, this product is also distinguished for its smooth yet irregular texture, which evokes the cold feeling of real metal to the touch. inMetallo always makes a bold impression. It furnishes and decorates spaces with refined glimmers, enriching the domestic environment with unique and charming corners.

inTerrazzo can be used to decorate furniture and design accessories, which it enriches with a sophisticated, eclectic and timeless charm. Inspired by a classic element of the Italian architectural tradition used since antiquity, this decorative surface replicates – with a low thickness – the typical elegant texture and refined appearance of Venetian floors. Consisting of a uniform base enriched by a distinctive speckled effect, inTerrazzo can be used to create aesthetically refined surfaces with a textured feel. Its colour variants evoke the passing of time and the beauty of Venice’s history, while retaining an innovative streak. inTerrazzo embodies the very essence of inMateria: the ongoing dialogue between past, present and future.

Technique

An unprecedented blend of artisan skill and advanced industrialised processes, our processes are entirely handmade and applied with artisan techniques using a trowel, from the application of the resin base to the mix’s perfecting with the addition of metal, concrete, clay, sand and ceramic powders. The protective coating is mostly opaque, while the polished plaster effect remains deliberately visible to avoid altering the textured quality of the coating.

What emerges from the craftsman’s hands is a visually appealing natural surface that is equally pleasant to the touch, featuring a unique quality much sought-after by contemporary design trends. Meanwhile, with their versatility and high performance, combined with their high resistance to scratches and impacts and their waterproof properties, inMateria coverings can be applied in many different settings: bathrooms, kitchens, domestic environments, showrooms or even on boat furniture and caravans.
